Customs officers at Kapitan Andreevo BCP found more than 2 million excise labels with inscriptions of the Republic of Belarus in the secrets of a truck

 Customs officers and Border Police officers at Kapitan Andreevo Border Checkpoint seized 2 190 000 excise labels for tobacco products with the inscriptions of the Republic of Belarus.

The excise labels were found during the inspection in the secrets of a truck with a foreign registration, run by a Moldovan citizen. On 22.12.2017 a truck arrives at Kapitan Andreevo traveling from Turkey through Bulgaria for Latvia. The driver did not declare any precious metals and currency, except declared goods. Customs officers selected the truck for X-ray inspection. Customs officers establish suspicious density and content in two areas of the trailer. During the physical check customs officers found specially built secrets, which are a double bottom of two tool cabinets. A total of 73 packages wrapped in brown paper and containing smaller packages with a total of 2 190 000 excise labels for tobacco products with inscriptions of the Republic of  Belarus were found in the secrets.

The excise labels and truck were seized. The driver was drawn a statement for customs violation. Work on the case continues.
