Customs mobile group at Lesovo BCP found smuggled medications in a secret compartment of a truck

Customs officers from DG Сustoms Intelligence and Investigation at Lesovo BCP found 255 packs with growth hormone worth over BGN 120 000  and 2600 pieces cigarettes. On 14.03.2019 arrives a truck with Bulgarian registration, entering the country from Turkey. Customs officers selected the truck for customs inspection. During the inspection customs officers found hidden, in the fuel additive storage tank 255 packs of Humatrope, a growth hormone and 130 boxes 2600 pieces cigarettes hidden in factory cavities of the driver's cab.
The driver Bulgarian citizen, the smuggled medications and cigarettes were seized. A pre-court proceeding has been initiated on the case.
