On 10/01/2020 a Turkish bus traveling from Turkey via Bulgaria to Romania arriving at the Bulgarian check point at about 10 pm. Customs officers selected the bus for check with X-ray and physical check. During the inspection customs officers found after dismantling three of the seats that they contained concealed plastic bags containing 266 articles of yellow and 1470 pieces of white metal. According to the expert's expertise, one part of the discovered articles is bracelets, medallions, rings, earrings, chains of 14 and 22 carat gold with a total weight of 383 grams, and another part - 925 silver sample with a weight of 1070 grams, total value of almost BGN 31,000. A statement for violation of the Monetary Law was issued against of the offender.
