Possession of herbal cannabis (marijuana) is totally prohibited in Bulgaria in accordance with Art. 3, para. 2, item 1 of the Law on Control of Narcotic Substances and Precursors (Appendix No. 1 to Article 3, Item 1 of the Ordinance on the Procedure for Classifying of Plants and Substances as Narcotic).
