Customs officers at Malko Tarnovo BCP seized smuggled veterinary medicines

Customs officers from “Customs Intelligence and Investigation” DG seized 240 packs of contraband veterinary medicinal products at Malko Tarnovo BCP. Undeclared medicines were found during customs check on a late-night arrival from Turkey on November 3, 2019, minibus, driven by a Bulgarian citizen. The driver and all 5 passengers in the van said they did not carry anything to declare. This is the third case of detained smuggling medical drugs of the Malko Tarnovo BCP in recent days. Another 13 packs of injection systems - Genotropin growth hormone pens were found in the luggage of two passengers entering the country, following a joint inspection by customs and border guards at the point in October.
