Customs officers at Kapitan Andreevo BCP found heroin for over BGN 420 000

Customs officers from General Directorate "Customs Intelligence and Investigation" and Yuzhna Morska Territorial Directorate found 6.522 kg heroin, hidden in the bodies of two men and in the compartment of the car.
On May 8, 2019, at 02:00 o'clock, in the Kapitan Andreevo BCP, Renault car arrived, traveled from the Republic of Turkey to the Republic of Bulgaria. In the car traveled the driver Y.U., 47 years old, Turkish citizen and his companion, a S.B., 50 years old, Bulgarian citizen. Customs officers selected the car for thorough check. In the course of a personal examination of the two men were found, hidden in the  bodies packages contained beige powder. Such packages were also found in the passenger compartment. The drug test responded to heroin. The total amount of the heroin was 6.522 kilos for than BGN 423 930.
A pre court proceeding was initiated on the case.
In the course of the investigation, evidence was gathered for the accused B.D. and M.A. who were detained in Plovdiv.
At the request of the Prosecutor's Office of Haskovo court set detention "custody" against one Bulgarian nationals and three foreigners indicted for smuggling six kilograms of heroin for BGN 423,930.
