Undeclared cash in the amount of BGN 30 305 were found  by the customs officers of the Malko Tarnovo BCP during an inspection of a car leaving the country, branded "Porsche Cayenne", driven by a Danish citizen. The car arrived at the customs office at 23:00 on January 10, 2019 from Bulgaria to Turkey. The driver traveled alone. He said he was carrying nothing to declare.

During the customs check, the customs officers found in the driver's handbag undeclared BGN 25 250 and EUR 2585 in different denominations with a total lev equivalent of BGN 30 305. When detecting undeclared money, the driver has shown aggressive behavior towards customs officers with shouts, pushing the door of the car and attempting to attack a customs officers. He has shown disobedience and aggression and to border police officers. He was detained in the Malko Turnovo Police Station and a pre-trial proceeding was instituted against him, under the supervision of Malko Tarnovo Regional Prosecutor's Office.

Undeclared cash amounting to BGN 30 305 were seized. Against the Danish citizen, registered in Bulgaria, two acts were drawn up - for violation of the Currency Law
and for violation of the Customs Act for opposing the customs authorities in the performance of their official duties.
