2 988 400 stickers similar to Ukrainian excise labels have been detained by customs officers from DG Customs Intelligence and Investigation in the Danube Bridge area near Ruse. are Stickers are found in a Turkish-registered truck carrying another commodity from Turkey to Russia. During scanning the customs officers noticed an area of different density and in the subsequent physical check they found that 30 boxes were placed on the boxes with the goods described in the documents. They contained packs wrapped in brown paper in which stickers were placed with stickers with the appearance of Ukrainian excise labels. Administrative penal proceedings have been initiated in this case. The driver of the car, a Turkish citizen, said that he and not another person were present at the truck loading.
