Customs officers seized undeclared veterinary vaccines, passports and pet chips. The contraband goods were found using the "risk analysis" method in a courier shipment from Bulgaria to the United Kingdom.

On 13.04.2021, customs officers from the Air Control Sector in the General Directorate of Customs Investigation and Intelligence selected for inspection a consignment with a recipient legal entity in Great Britain. According to the documents, it contains goods for pets in quantity - 1 piece worth 10 euros. When it opened, however, customs officers found 50 passports (each with an individual number) and 50 transponders, also known as pet chips. In addition, 9 boxes with 10 veterinary vaccines and 4 embossed printing tires were found in the shipment. The contents of the shipment were detained because it did not correspond to the description in the documents.
