Bulgaria
The Bulgarian government opened a single information portal in support to the people, leaving Ukraine, where full information on border control requirements at the entry into Bulgaria is provided. Instructions on the necessary identity documents are also specified. In a dedicated section of the portal is provided information about the procedure for obtaining of international protection status for the citizens of Ukraine, arriving in our country. The platform shall enable the opportunity to submit alerts for assistance and evacuation of citizens. The portal processes information about volunteers and donors. A special section with the measures related to the restrictions of COVID-19 has been set up. The special website has also its own news section. The single information portal, set up by the Bulgarian government, is the first in the EU (published on 28.02.2022).

The EU has introduced a list of restrictive measures in response to the Russian aggression and in support and solidarity with Ukraine. Many of these measures have an impact on the work of the EU customs authorities, the importers and the exporters.
